1890s/1900s ~ French Antique Fuel (Oil, Gas, Kerosene) Canister ~ ESTABLISSEMENT LORIN ~ Galvanzied Zinc Metal Oil Can
This lovely French vintage antique fuel canister is a real gem. It is made of a blended metal with a beautiful patina and textured surface that could be stainless steel, Iron, etc. copper, brass, aluminum or a mixture of all of them. There is a twist top lid with a metal chain attached to the handle to not lose the lid. There is a metal handle for spout for pouring liquids and 3 coals of metal around the body with screws to fasten it to the body of the canister.
Inscribed on the front plate « ESTABLISSEMENT LORIN ».
It is the best gift idea for lovers of industrial style garage decor. Since it has been cleaned it can be repurposed as a water can for the garden.

In rustic distressed vintage condition and has a lovey patina however due to it's age there are heavy surface scratches, dents and marks in the surface however I believe this is what gives it charm and tells it's story. It has been cleaned and I removed as much of the rust as possible but there is still some remaining. Very good quality, no holes, no leaks and is usable. Please take a look at the photos closely and use zoom for detail.
